God’s dwelling place
among men holds a special position in Holy Scripture. His
dwelling place where He manifests His glory to the world is
sacred and everything that toucheth that place is sacred. The
only place on earth where men have seen His glory, except on the
Mount of Transfiguration, has been in His temple. The three
disciples immediately said after the glory on the mount had
subsided, “…let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one
for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.” (St
Luke 9:33b) His glory and His temple are intimately connected in
Holy Scripture. Nothing is a truer gauge of the purity or the
coarseness of a given society or culture than their view of
God’s temple or His church.
Satan hates the
glory of God. It is the grandest reminder of his lost position
and favor. He was the archangel responsible to give music to
that glory and to protect it with his created gifts. Instead, he
desperately tried to steal the glory for himself and lost all he
knew worthy of being in the process. Satan knows that nothing
moves the heart of men in the right direction more quickly and
surely than when they experience or see His glory. It is the
proof of the Bible and makes truth come alive. The heart of men
is, by the nature of sin, superstitious, and God’s glory defines
and sanctifies that nature with a positive proof of genuine
reality. Without seeing the glory of God, the sinful nature wins
the contest for the human soul. This is why God’s church loses
its effectiveness when it denies the supernatural spiritual
experience.
The present church
world has become an intimate part of blaspheming the temple of
God. Churches have followed the symbols of Catholicism until the
temple/church is unclean in its very architecture. Statues,
images of sacred figures, so-called saints, doves, fish, etc.,
adorn the majority of what should be “The House of God” alone.
The only expression, picture, symbol, etc., that should ever
adorn God’s house is the empty cross. Much worse than any of the
actual church building is what has occurred in the lives of the
worshippers. There is no longer a standard for dress when
attending worship. Vulgar clothing, cross-dressing of men and
women, total loss of Biblical standards for hair, language,
pleasure and cheap barnyard dress habits are the order of the
day. Even the world is trying to figure out what has happened.
Say what you please, but this is blasphemy. When the sacred is
lost, the temple is no longer a temple. The very word temple
used by the Lord Himself, means “a sacred place.” This is true
for the body of every saint of God or that body is not His
temple.
The music that
reverberates in today’s temples is perfect for a rock concert or
a pagan celebration, but it is repulsive to the God of Holiness
and order. Music that turns on the sex drive or causes the
animal instincts to surface is not going to bring about a
spiritual visitation. A study of the songbook of scripture,
Psalms, will give you a perfect understanding of what our God
calls worship. All of this is a simple picture of how Satan is
using compromise and human imagination in today’s church to
blaspheme the temple of God. But please understand that this is
just the beginning. Everything in today’s church or secular
world shows the signs of what is to be fulfilled in the Book of
Revelation.
Antichrist
Blasphemes The Temple In Heaven
The earthly tabernacle, temple, church, or the Spirit-filled
saints themselves are all a shadow of the temple in Heaven. When
God gave Moses and David the specifics of the tabernacle/temple,
He plainly commanded that they be built after the order He gave
them. There could be absolutely no variation. The New Testament
message of Jesus Christ was perfectly revealed in the First
Testament temple. The saints are now the temple. This is why
Apostle Paul gave orders for modesty of dress, no made-up faces,
beautiful long hair on the saintly ladies, and absolutely no
long hair on the saintly men. This is why the entire life of a
saint of God, a temple of the Holy Ghost, must be an open book,
free of the world’s contamination and holy in all conduct. None
of this makes you holy, but being made holy by His
righteousness, a Bible standard for living, becomes your joy as
His temple. His Spirit will never fill your temple until the
sacredness of His order is reflected in your life.
During the coming
judgment, this blasphemy will reach its greatest expression. We
see the entire church world ridiculing purity and holiness and
treating a Godly life like it is the plague. When the Godly
saints are raptured, Satan and his antichrist will scream their
blasphemies against the Heavens where the saints have
disappeared. “And there was given unto him a mouth speaking
great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to
continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in
blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his
tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.” (Revelation 13:5-6)
The anger of the
unholy trinity will be violent and he will take his vengeance
out on any semblance of the church. The Tribulation saints will
face the rage of an offended devil and antichrist because of the
glorious Rapture and the escape of the hated Bride of Jesus
Christ. Can you imagine Satan, the Antichrist, the false
prophet, and all of his demons screaming blasphemies against
Heaven, the open Heavenly tabernacle, and all of God’s raptured
Bride? Satan hates the temple of God whether it is a church
house standing tall for truth or a saint whose temple is
absolutely separated to Bible holiness.
Daniel, by the Holy
Spirit, said of this dark period, “And such as do wickedly
against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the
people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the
wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall
understand; but the wise shall understand.” (Daniel 11:32;
12:10)
