Some of the greatest victories that have been experienced in the lives of God’s Saints came after all hope was gone. Its almost like the only really great success for the Bible warrior is given when flesh and human effort has become futile. We see this with almost every wonderful story in the Bible. Look at Esther, that great Queen of Ahasuerus of the Persians. The entire Jewish race was in danger of death. The words of Mordecia were,“For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14). She new hope was gone and unless God gave her favour her family was finished. What we really see is that most of us never give up our own efforts and our own self-confidence until it is evident that we are helpless. Then and only then can God get all the glory. Its important for the Kingdom of God and the victories so desperately needs that we hear this sermon. The Heavenly Father has a plan for every life listening, but until you get to the end of yourself He can do nothing. He wants you where He can use you and bring glory to Christ alone. There are no helpless situations when God can take over. Let this Sermon change your life.
